Join this young, innovative start-up, initially from Zurich, who are in the process of growing their Berlin office and are looking for a talented Product Designer to join them full time.
The client formed in 2015 and set up the Berlin in late 2019. Growth in Berlin has been the plan for a while, and now that Covid-19 seems to be getting under control, there is a huge push to grow the business.
Great product design is essential for the company mission. With their easy to use interface they make mobility management for companies simple, transparent and fun. Their product design team is at the forefront of this mission; In close collaboration with both engineers and product managers, you will analyse tricky problems of the users and design pleasing and intuitive solutions for them.
Responsibilities:
- You will work as part visual designer and part UX specialist.
- You won’t just focus on the colour of the pixels but take pride in developing a deep understanding of the problem you are solving.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to analyse the problems of the users and design pleasing and intuitive solutions for them.
- Play a lead role in the design and implementation of the User Interface and User Experience of the product.
Qualifications:
- Multiple years of experience designing intuitive and interactive interfaces for web apps as part of an in-house product design team.
- Solid visual design skills as well as expertise in modern web and mobile UX.
- A good understanding of users’ problems.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluency in Adobe CS, Sketch, InVision (or other prototyping products)
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in German.
