About The Company:
This young company, specialising in reinsurance are on the look out for a new CTO to take charge of the technology area of the business. As well as getting involved with the senior leadership meetings and potential future funding rounds.
The Team:
This business are a young Start-up, so as you can imagine, you’ll be joining a collaborative and fun team.
The Gig:
This is a full-time permanent, mainly remote role. You will represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and play a key role in future hiring.
Duties will include:
- Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
- Consolidate the technology platforms
- Track, analyse and monitor technology performance metrics
- Identify new areas of opportunities
- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
- Spearhead IT projects to increase our market presence and to improve the USP
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
- Regularly speak with stakeholders, shareholders and investors
Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the EU.
- Over 5 years of experience as a CTO
- Over 3 years experience working with Start-ups, ideally Fin-tech / Insure-tech
- Background in software development
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Experience dealing with stakeholders, shareholders, investors and experience dealing with funding rounds.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Reinsurance
- Knowledge of Blockchain
